This is the Tequila Blog
With the World Cup around the corner, spread across three countries, for reasons no one seems fully convinced by, things already feel slightly out of place. And still, the same question returns: what is México?
There’s no shortage of videos, guides, or neatly packaged answers trying to define what México means. México slips past definition surprising even AI, disrupting surrealism, creating chaos, and still delivering something unmistakably its own.
So, The Tequila Blog isn’t here to explain Mexico to you. It’s here to remind you it was never waiting for permission. This is a space that rejects the idea that culture can be reduced to something you caption and move on from.
We look at Mexican creativity as it actually exists: layered, contradictory, sometimes uncomfortable, often sharp enough to cut. From street interventions to material experimentation, from traditional craft to contemporary design.
We don’t chase trends. We don’t simplify complexity. And we’re definitely not here to romanticize what doesn’t need it.
If you’re looking for easy inspiration, this isn’t it.
If you’re looking for something real, then welcome.
